v. 13 And thus we see how great the inequality of man is because of sin and transgression, and the power of the devil, which comes by the cunning plans which he heath devised to ensnare the hearts of men.
Sin creates Spiritual Inequality
Sin messes up three things:
1) Relationship with God
2) Relationship with others
3) Relationship with self
Some people accumulate: light, knowledge, peace, capacity.
Other people accumulate: Bondage, confusion, hardness, diminished capacity
Overt time, this creates a gap in judgment, stability, agency, and happiness.
Becuase of this inequality, God sends missionaries, teachers, parents, prophets to loosen the chains of the devil and restore those who are faltering becuase of the devil's cunning plans.
