Prehab / Rehab
An injury is not just a process of recovery, it's a process of discovery.
Everyone eventually gets hurt, has an injury, or a setback. I have found that this mostly happens from going too hard, too long, too fast without properly building up to that level of exercise. It can happen from falls, or as you get older, just stepping off a curb wrong. In my experience, it is more likely to happen if you don't stretch properly (guilty as charged) or do balance exercises regularly (guilty as charged). Below are some plans that can help prevent or bring you back from the brink. Obviously, it is always better to seek the advice of professionals, be it physicians or physical therapists, especially if you think you may have an injury. These are here for ease of reference and are not intended as medical advice or to replace a physical therapist.
