Chicken in a Roll

Chicken in a roll is basically the most unhealthy thing you could eat aside from a stick of Crisco. However, Peter really likes this dinner and so it has endured through the years and will likely be the reason why his years are numbered. Oh to be young and carefree! Drinking milk by the gallon! Eating sugar by the spoonful! Eating chicken in a roll! Do not make this if you are over 21 or have a family history of heart disease.

Ingredients

• 3 cans of Original Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
• 1 block of Cream Cheese
• Shredded Rotisserie Chicken (about 3 cups)
• 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
• Italian Bread Crumbs

• Heat oven to 375

Directions

1. Shred the Rotisserie Chicken. The best way to do this is to pull the chicken meat off the bone and place it in a bowl. Get a hand held mixer and mix away! It's oddly satisfying.
2. Soften the cream cheese so that it's room temperature.
3. Mix the cream cheese and shredded chicken together.
4. Take a Tbsp (or so) of the mixture and place it in the dough and roll it up!
5. Repeat until you have a little collection of tidy rolls.
6. If you like them dipped in bread crumbs, lightly cover in the olive oil and then roll the rolls in the Italian bread crumbs. Voila! Breaded rolls.
7. Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet and cook in the over for 12 minutes (you can also follow the cooking instructions on the pillsbury can).
8. Remove from the oven and enjoy!
