Tips for Success
- If you use salted butter, then leave out the salt called for later in the recipe, or else you may get something too salty. If you use unsalted butter, then add about 1/2 tsp salt. One time, Sara’s college roommate made cookies and accidentally substituted salt for the sugar. News of this mistake made it around campus instantly and she left college unmarried. Coincidence? I don’t think so.
During WWII, Floyd was stationed in Italy with the US Army Air Corps. He made a boat out of a bomb so he could go fishing. There's a reason why they were called the greatest generation.
