Pulpit Rock
Technically part of Austin Bluffs Open Space, this is a great quick little hike that takes you to the top of some fun rock formations with great views. Best done in the early morning hours or early evening. During the summer, it gets straight up hot on this trail. You can connect in to the miles of trails in Austin Bluffs Open Space from here and fiddle around for hours and hours. Watch the wee ones on the rocks at the top, there are some steep drops.

The Hike:
There are a lot of trails here, so even though you can see your destination, it's easy to get on a side trail and then have to backtrack or hike around a bonus loop if you are looking to just go to the top.
From the parking lot, head out on the main trail. In about an 1/8 of a mile, there will be a T style intersection, head right.
In about 50 yards or so after you turn right, there will be a small trail that head left. This is the trail that head straight to the top.
If you miss this turn, just keep going because there are four different trails that head to the top, that's just the most direct one to the rocks at the top.
