Kenosha Pass
Technically probably in the Denver hiking region, Kenosha Pass is a nearly 2 hour drive from Colorado Springs. The trail itself is part of the Colorado Trail which runs from Denver to Durango. This is just a great place to catch some fall leaves and go for an easy hike on the Colorado Trail. You can head East or West, but we tend to take the Kenosha Pass East trail and just hike down the Colorado Trail (Trail #1776) a mile or so, then meander on back. The further you go down the trail, the less people there will be and the better chance for a picnic in the Aspens by yourselves.

The Hike:
As noted above, this hike is easy and flat (depending on how far you go). If you are going for the fall colors, then it's really just about being outside with the wind, the leaves, and the blue sky. Enjoy!
